Researcher Electric Propulsion

EERETS Space is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Electric Propulsion Researcher to join our team in advancing cutting-edge propulsion systems for space exploration. The ideal candidate will conduct research and development in the area of electric propulsion, contributing to our mission of creating sustainable space solutions.

>Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, and develop advanced electric propulsion systems for space missions.
  • Analyze system performance and contribute to the optimization of propulsion efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve space-related challenges, including ion thrusters, Hall thrusters, and other emerging technologies.
  • Participate in the testing, simulation, and validation of propulsion systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation and present findings to both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • PhD or currently pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plasma Physics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in electric propulsion technologies such as ion propulsion, Hall-effect thrusters, or plasma propulsion.
  • Strong understanding of space systems, spacecraft integration, and propulsion system optimization.
  • Experience with numerical modeling, CFD simulations, and vacuum testing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex technical data.

Research Associate

Job Overview:

ERETS Space is seeking motivated Research Associates to contribute to cutting-edge research in the fields of Aerospace Structures, Propulsion Systems, Satellite Manufacturing and Technology, Optics, Orbital Mechanics, and Artificial Intelligence. This is an exciting opportunity for PhD candidates who are passionate about exploring innovative technologies for sustainable space exploration and satellite development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced research in your specific domain, including but not limited to aerospace structures, propulsion systems, satellite design and development, and orbital mechanics.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on experimental design, testing, and data analysis.
  • Design, model, and simulate novel space structures, propulsion technologies, and satellite systems.
  • Contribute to the development of artificial intelligence algorithms for spacecraft automation and control.
  • Analyze optical systems and instruments used for satellite communications and observation.
  • Assist in the preparation of research publications and technical reports.
  • Present findings to internal teams and contribute to the innovation roadmap at ERETS.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Satellite Technology, Optics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following: aerospace structures, propulsion technologies, satellite manufacturing, orbital mechanics, AI in space applications, or optical systems.
  • Proficiency in numerical modeling, simulation software, and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
  • Experience in designing or testing aerospace systems or related technologies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing research publications and reports.
